How to sign up to the forum

1. Go to http://dundeeareabusforum.com There is no need to put in www. but you can if it makes you feel better!

2. Click on "register an account".

3. Fill in the form. Choose a user name, which you will use to access the forum. Enter your email address. Tick the box on the right to hide the email address from other members, but please be aware that the administrator can still see it! You still need to enter a VALID email address for authentication purposes. Then, choose your password - this is your FORUM password, and is NOT your email account password. You can make them the same if you wish, your choice. Then, read the registration agreement, scroll through it to the end of the page, and then...

4. Click "I Agree", then press "Register".

5. That is the first stage done. You should see a full screen including the text above, which shows your membership is pending approval.

6. You then need to complete an application. Send an email to dundee@scotbus.com with Your Name, Your email address that you signed up with, Your profile sign in name that you signed up with, a confirmation you've read the rules, your age, and brief description of who you are (for my information only). Also include the location of a profile to show your details. If you are not already personally known to me, please send me details of your profile on Yahoo (i.e. http://profiles.yahoo.com/your_profile_name_goes_here), MSN, AOL, ICQ, or UK Angels. :-)

7. After I get a chance to see both, your account will be activated!  To see help for logging in and using the forum, click here.


Any problems with these processes? Contact the Administrator online by sending a private message (in the forum) to "Suzy Scott". If you cannot get online, send an email to dundee@scotbus.com, YIM to "suzyscott_dd1" or MSN to "yah@scotbus.com" (all these are without the quote marks).
Please include as much information about the problem you are having. Screen grabs are welcome, but no bitmaps please! Please include your operating system (i.e. Windows, Mac, Linux etc.), browser (IE, Netscape, Mozilla, Opera etc.) and details of any firewall or anti-virus software running on your machine.
